In conjunction with Castle Care-Tech’s tried and tested Wanderer alarm system, a Covert detection and warning device can be applied right into the heart of the problem - the fuel cap. As soon as it is removed a local alarm will be raised as well as a text message sent to the driver so action may be taken.

The Wanderer is a static or mobile alarm/monitoring system with 16 inputs, and is the ideal solution when monitoring or security is required where there is no PSTN line, and no mains voltage supply either. The internal GSM module will accept any SIM card, and will send up to 20 different message types to a total of 4 mobile telephones. In power-saving mode with 2 x 7Ah batteries, the Wanderer can be set up to last 80 weeks.

It needn’t be just the fuel cap that is being monitored, by adding radio door contacts or PIRs you can have the Wanderer monitor all of your cargo. If the rear doors are opened or breached, or the cargo area is entered, an alarm/alert warning and message can be given.
