Grade 2x Euro Mini Prox Alarm Control Panel
Released in July 2008, this is our next generation 'mini' panel designed to meet all the requirements of EN50131-3 and suitable for use in systems designed to comply with EN50131 at Grade 2x. All of the features of the Euro mini are present, along with the added flexibility of using proximity cards or tags to control your system.
The compact casing of the Euro Mini makes it ideal for domestic installations. Up to 10 detectors can be wired direct to the endstation PCB using End of Line configuration, and we've made upgrading old panels easy with the ability to wire up to 9 detectors using double pole configuration.
Because the famous Euro Range proximity tag feature has been added to the Euro Mini Prox, the full range of setting devices can be added to the system, from the smart contemporary keypad, slimline internal tag reader, weather proof external tag reader and the stylish range of flushmounted keypads in brass or chrome finishes.
What is Grade 2x?
Grade 2 alarms are required where there is slightly higher risk of theft and the property is likely to have something of interest to an accomplished thief, ie the intruder will have some knowledge of how alarm systems work and possibly carry some tools to allow him to overcome a simple alarm system. Grade 2 alarms will communicate to a central station, whereas Grade 2x burglar alarms are non-communicating, commonly called "bells only".
