Two-way wireless technology is a vital part
of the system that keeps it reliable and provides a
major advantage to the installer.
868MHz with Increased Battery Life
868MHz Enforcer wireless uses PIR detectors without the need for a battery saving sleep timer. The detector is aware if the panel is set or not and will therefore behave accordingly. If the panel is set, the detector will be awake just as a wired detector would be; but if the system is unset, the detector is put to sleep so only important supervision messages will be sent, not unnecessary motion detection messages.
Signal Strength Indicators Made Easy
Because each device on the Enforcer is a transmitter and a
receiver, we can offer the installer a status reading at
both the Enforcer control panel, and the wireless
device. When a wireless detector is installed,
the installer will be able to see via LEDs on the
device if the location is acceptable. This means the
installer will know while holding the device in place
if the signal strength is acceptable and therefore
whether it is safe to install the device (before
drilling and mounting).
