We understand that NSI have already begun to insist on compliance with the requirements of DD243:2004.
The industry agreement for the implementation of PD6662 etc. made it very clear that manufacturers were not prepared to introduce sets of changes one after another – ie that ALL the relevant changes would have to be synchronised and product would be made available accordingly.
The NSI requirement would appear to contradict this agreement. Product generally has NOT been updated to reflect changes required by DD243:2004 in advance of the changes for PD6662:2004.
Euro-MERiDIAN therefore does NOT yet comply with certain aspects of the requirements – particularly clause 6.4.5.
