Castle Care-Tech is a UK based designer and manufacturer of high technology control equipment and intruder alarms to the security industry throughout the world.
Originally established in 1973 under the name of Castle Alarms and Electronics, Castle Care-Tech remains a British owned business and has full R & D and manufacturing capability to ISO9001:2000. Today, the Castle brand is part of the Secure Holdings group of security companies, ensuring the Castle remains well placed to develop unique security solutions for world distribution.
As a leading British manufacturer of high technology security equipment, Castle has won numerous awards for products and innovation over the years, including the European Security Innovation Award and the IFSEC Prism of Excellence. In October 2012 the Enforcer Wireless control panel won the Security Excellence Award in the category of "Security Innovation of the Year".
Our speciality is intruder alarm control panels where we have products that can be configured to take standard (End of Line or double pole), addressable (iD) or wireless detectors.
Skilled Castle engineers are constantly working to improve and enhance the product range so that it is always able to cope with tomorrow's challenging needs.
European Compliance
In 1998 Castle launched Euro-MERiDIAN, the world's first system designed for use in systems complying to European Security Standard EN50131-1. Euro-MERiDIAN was also the first intruder system in the world to incorporate a fully intergrated access control package.
The Euro-MERiDIAN operating system remains a stable and proven platform for today's panels, which have been redesigned to comply with the new EN50131, PD6662:2010 and BS8243 requirements in Europe and the UK.

Over the years Castle's designers have gathered considerable expertise in specialist and covert anti-terrorist systems that can be used in harsh external environments to protect society's infrastructure. System integration of large sites including shopping precincts is another field where Castle is just one such practical application of Castle's products. Past OEM products include specialist anti-terrorist detection, control and signalling devices for exterior protection, back-up technology for the guarding industry and battery powered stand-alone systems for empty (void) property.
